Sony FE 2.0x Teleconverter

The Sony FE 2.0x Teleconverter is a handy accessory for photographers looking to double the focal length of their compatible telephoto lenses. It's perfect for sports and wildlife photography, allowing you to capture distant subjects without the need for extra heavy lenses.

Focal Length Extension

This teleconverter multiplies the focal length of your lens by 2.0x. For example, if you use it with a 70-200mm lens, you'll effectively get a focal length of 140-400mm, giving you more reach for those faraway shots.

Image Quality

The SEL20TC is designed to maintain full G Master performance, ensuring that you won't sacrifice optical quality, autofocus speed, or precision when using it. This means your images will remain sharp and clear, even at extended focal lengths.

Light Loss

When using this teleconverter, you will experience approximately 2 stops of light loss. For instance, a lens with an aperture of F2.8 will effectively become F5.6. This may require adjustments in your ISO or shutter speed to achieve proper exposure.

Compatibility

The Sony FE 2.0x Teleconverter is compatible with select telephoto lenses and works on both full-frame and APS-C Sony E-mount cameras. You can check your lens's compatibility using Sony's online tool.
