Promaster 49mm UV HGX Prime

I’ve been using this filter for a few weeks now and it’s made a noticeable difference in reducing haze on sunny days. The glass feels precision-made, with no distortion even at the edges of my wide-angle lens. It threads on smoothly and hasn’t affected autofocus speed at all.

The individual grinding and polishing really shows — on my 85mm prime, the image stays tack sharp with zero haze, even shooting directly into a bright window. It's one of those things you don't notice until you take it off and realize how much cleaner the colors actually are.

Put this on my vintage 50mm f/1.4 and the multi-coating really cuts down on flare, even shooting directly into sunlight. The glass feels substantial and the threads are buttery smooth to screw on.
