Promaster 46mm IRND4X (.6) HGX Prime

Finally a filter that doesn't introduce a color cast—the infrared suppression is spot-on. The glass feels incredibly smooth to the touch, and it wipes clean with almost no effort at all.

The IRND4X (.6) is impressively neutral in tone, and the individual grinding really shows in the sharpness of my long exposures. I’ve shot straight into the sun and the infrared suppression kept the blacks clean without any weird color cast. Just wiped a fingerprint off the coating with a microfiber

I was skeptical about needing an IRND filter, but this one kills the infrared color shift I was getting with my long exposures. The polish is so clean that it doesn't degrade sharpness at all.
