After struggling with color casts on my old ND filters, this one’s infrared suppression keeps my long exposures neutral and clean. The dirt-repelling coating is a nice bonus, too.

The ground and polished glass on this filter is noticeably smoother than my old screw-on ones, and it slides into the holder perfectly. I shot a waterfall scene at f/11 and the IR suppression kept the blacks looking true black, no weird magenta shift.

The glass is ground and polished so precisely that reflections are almost nonexistent, and the IR suppression means my skies stay deep blue without that muddy cast. I’ve shot waterfalls at 1/15s and the detail holds up beautifully. The coating really does shrug off dust and water between shots.
