Tiffen Black Pro-Mist 濾鏡 (72mm, 等級 1/4)

I was skeptical at first, but the 1/4 grade does exactly what I hoped—it takes the edge off harsh highlights without washing out the shadows. My outdoor portraits have that soft, film-like glow I’ve been chasing.

I was worried it might make the image too hazy, but the 1/4 strength hits a perfect balance — my highlights have a nice glow without losing shadow detail. It’s been on my lens for every portrait session since.

Used it on a cloudy afternoon shoot and the highlight roll-off was exactly what I wanted—faces looked softer without losing detail in the shadows. The 1/4 grade gives just enough diffusion without making the image feel hazy.
