Promaster 46mm UV HGX Prime

The individual grinding and polishing on this filter is noticeable — no distortion even on my wide lens. It's cut glare perfectly during a sunny beach shoot and I barely notice it's on the lens.

I've been using this UV filter for a few weeks now on my favorite lens, and I'm impressed with how well it blocks that hazy glare without changing the colors. The individually ground and polished glass feels noticeably sturdier than the cheaper ones I've tried before.

I was skeptical about spending this much on a filter, but the multi-coated glass is noticeably clearer than my old one, and there's zero color cast. It threads on smoothly and doesn't add any weird reflections to my shots.
