It snaps on securely and immediately cut the glare I was getting from a nearby window. Makes the lens look more balanced too.

I was a bit skeptical about lens hoods for a wide-angle, but this one clicks on securely and does cut down the stray light noticeably even on sunny days.

Snapped this on right out of the box, and it’s cut flare almost completely on sunny afternoon shots. The bayonet mount clicks securely with a satisfying feel, no wobble at all.
