Category: Light Stands

Change from a traditional, straight-up light stand to a boom stand and back again in just seconds. The top two sections of this stand's main column can become a tiltable, sliding boom arm with a long reach. A fabric, zippered weight bag with clip is included. You add the weight to it and then the boom can be properly counterbalanced. The PROMASTER 4374 Studio Boom Stand is a highly versitile tool. And it is finished in flat black to reduce the chance of glare in your shots. A bras double-sided spigot is also included for connecting your lights and other gear.

Hazel ★★★★★

The quick-switch from stand to boom arm really does take just seconds, which saved me so much time during a messy studio setup. I love how the boom section slides and tilts smoothly without feeling flimsy—it holds my heavy modifier securely. Exactly what I needed for overhead lighting without a dedi

Violet ★★★★★

I was a bit skeptical about the quick-change feature, but it really does switch from straight stand to boom in seconds. The sliding boom arm stays put once you tighten it, which makes positioning a mic overhead much less frustrating.

Mia Q. ★★★★★

Switching between a straight stand and a boom in seconds is incredibly handy, and the sliding arm gives me just the right reach for overhead mic placement. Feels solid enough for studio use without being overly heavy.
