Chloe ★★★★★ Oct 20, 2026

I’ve been using it for landscape shoots and the independent drag and lock controls let me fine-tune tension without the head drifting, which is huge for heavy glass. The Arca-Swiss plate locks in securely and releases cleanly every time, no fiddling. Panning is buttery smooth even in cold weather.

Swapping lenses mid-shoot is a breeze with the Arca-Swiss plate, and the panning stays buttery smooth even after a few hours of hiking. The dual controls mean I can lock the ball tight without touching the drag, which saved me from a few shaky long exposures.

The independent drag and locking controls make fine-tuning composition so much easier than my old head. Panning is smooth and precise, and the Arca-Swiss plate locks down securely with zero play. Exactly what I needed for landscape work.
