Promaster 39mm UV HGX Prime

The individual grinding and polishing really shows when I hold it up to the light—zero distortion compared to my old cheap filter. It’s been on my lens for two weeks now and the coatings seem to repel dust better than I expected.

I wasn't expecting a UV filter to make this much difference, but the multicoated glass cuts glare beautifully without adding any weird color cast. It threads on smoothly and feels solid on the lens.

I was skeptical about spending this much on a UV filter, but the multi-coating on this one is noticeably better than others I've used—zero flare even shooting directly into the sun. The glass sits perfectly flush with my lens hood, so it doesn't add any extra bulk.
