SmallRig RA-L65 Lantern Softbox

I needed a big, even light source for product close-ups, and this lantern softbox gives me beautifully soft shadows right out of the bag. The build feels solid, and it sets up in under a minute without any wrestling.

Set it up as an overhead light for some product shots and the light spread is incredibly smooth and even, with no harsh hotspots. The build quality feels solid enough to trust with a boom arm, but it's still surprisingly lightweight. Exactly what I needed for a more professional soft look.

The 65cm size is perfect for my small home studio, and the quick setup with the internal speed ring saved me a ton of time. I used it as an overhead light for product shots, and the even, wrap-around light completely eliminated harsh shadows.
