Promaster 55mm IRND4X (.6) HGX Prime

I was worried about color shifts with IR light, but this filter completely suppresses them—my shots look neutral right out of camera. The dirt-repelling coating also makes cleaning a breeze after a dusty shoot.

This filter’s anti-reflective coating really cuts down on glare, even in harsh midday sun. I was surprised how little it affected my exposure times compared to cheaper IRNDs I’ve tried. Colors stayed neutral right out of the camera, which saved me editing time.

I’ve been using this filter for landscape shots with my prime lens, and the way it cuts infrared haze while keeping colors accurate is impressive. The build feels solid, too—ground glass that actually resists fingerprints.
