Switched from a bulky tripod to this and the convertible design makes it perfect for both my DSLR and phone shots when I'm hiking. The quick-release plate feels sturdy and the whole thing packs down small enough to clip onto my backpack without being annoying.

The leg locks are smooth and quick, so swapping between my phone and camera for stills and video takes seconds. It's sturdy enough that I don't worry about it tipping on uneven ground, and the convertible design means I finally stopped leaving a tripod at home.

I’ve been using this tripod for both my camera and phone on a weekend hike, and the quick-switch setup between the two is way smoother than I expected. The convertible design really does make it feel like one less thing to fiddle with when you’re trying to grab a shot fast.
