عدسة باناسونيك لوميكس S 40mm f/2.0

I love how this lens forces me to actually move my feet to compose a shot — it makes even a simple coffee cup on a counter feel intentional. The fixed focal length is perfect for everyday storytelling.

The shallow depth of field at f/2.0 is exactly what I wanted for isolating my kids in the kitchen, and the fixed focal length pushes me to actually step closer instead of just zooming. It’s a bit heavier than I expected for a pancake-style prime, but the image quality makes up for it every time.

I love how this prime lens forces me to get creative with composition—the fixed focal length really makes you move around to frame the shot. The aperture ring feels solid and precise, which is a nice tactile touch when adjusting settings quickly.
