عدسة Nikon NIKKOR Z 50mm f/1.2 S

The autofocus is snappy and silent, even when tracking a walking subject. F/1.2 gives such a dreamy separation that my portraits look like they were shot on medium format.

The Nano Crystal Coat really earns its keep—shooting into the sun at f/1.2, the contrast stays clean and flare is basically gone, which is a huge win for backlit portraits. It’s a hefty piece of glass, but the rendering is so creamy that I keep reaching for it over my other primes.

I’ve been shooting in harsh midday sun, and the ARNEO coating eliminates ghosting completely—the contrast stays punchy even with the sun in frame. Autofocus is snappy and silent, and that f/1.2 aperture gives me creamy bokeh I couldn’t get with my old lens.
