I’ve been using this dome on a small speedlight, and the way it evens out harsh shadows in tight spaces is impressive—the collapsible design makes packing it away a breeze too.

The light spread is noticeably more flattering on skin tones compared to using a bare flash, and it pops on and off my speedlight in seconds. I’ve been getting softer shadows in my indoor portraits without any harsh hotspots.

The collapsed size makes it a no-brainer to toss in my camera bag, and once it’s snapped open, the light spreads so evenly that my portraits look natural right out of the camera. It’s become my go-to for quick shoots where I don’t want to fuss with setup.
