Benro IB1 Triple Action Ball Head

The base is just 3.8 inches tall but feels rock-solid under my telephoto lens, and the Arca-type plate slides in and locks instantly. I've been using it for landscape shots this week, and the tension control gives me exactly the right amount of drag for smooth panning.

The separate locks for ball movement and 36° pan are exactly what I needed for precise framing, and the 3.8" height keeps my camera setup stable without being bulky.

I’ve had heavier tripod heads that were twice the size, so the fact that this one holds 17.6 lb at just 12.8 oz is honestly impressive. The ball lock feels precise and solid when I tighten it, and the 3.8" height keeps it compact in my bag without sacrificing grip.
